PIPER System: Better Together

The PIPER Collection was conceived as system tableware. It does not follow the rules of a classic service.

All PIPER products work alone, but together they make more sense: The Cups fit into the neck of both Jug and HandleJug. This can save space on a desk for example, while the Cup is safe from spilling over laptops. This also allows to carry all in just one hand, which keeps the other one free. Those Cups are also stackable on top of each other, to save space in the cupboard.

SENSE–MADE rethought many contemporary use cases and questioned all single components of (tea) pots, jugs, cups, lids and saucers etc. While in former days people gathered for tea time, rituals in times of home office, coworking spaces, desk sharing are much more fast paced and multi–tasked. Agility is key. We want to stay healthy and hydrated whenever and wherever. Food and drinks are taken to a sofa, a lounge or to a desk. We rush from kitchenettes to meeting rooms, back to our desks. There are doors to open and close; bags, laptops or children to carry and sometimes stairs to climb between kitchen and living room or bedside table.
